We have repackaged and updated our MIDI kit to include a universal power supply with auto switching for use anywhere in the world.
This MIDI Line Driver and Receiver set has been specifically designed for use in the television and PA industries and incorporates
several broadcast/PA specific features.
The transmitter unit has a standard MIDI DIN input with a fully buffered MIDI through output.
The transmitter has a green power LED and when data is transmitted a bright red LED flashes.
The transmitter incorporates a receiver test button which sends a test code. The 'OK' LED on the transmitter will only illuminate
if the test code is echoed back to the transmitter. Perfect for a confidence test.
The receiver does not require a power supply as it is line powered by the transmitter and also includes a power LED and a data LED.
The receiver supplies two buffered MIDI outputs and will automatically switch phase if the XLR connecting cable is out of phase.
The data connections will withstand both short circuit and up to 60 volts D.C.
providing full protection against accidental phantom power connection.

Maximum distance between the transmitter and receiver is in excess of 500 metres using reasonable quality connecting cable.
